The Thinker Bookends - A Pair in Black Silk

Rodin's most recognised figure, seated on his rock at both ends of your shelf. A matched left and right pair, each sculpted in the round rather than pressed flat against the plate, so the bent back, the braced arm and the curled hand all read from across the room.

Printed in black silk PLA. The satin sheen catches the light along the spine, the shoulders and the folds of the rock, so the figure keeps its depth instead of flattening into a black shape the way a matte print does.

Built to actually hold books

Each bookend is an L: a broad vertical plate with the figure seated on the base. The plate slides underneath your books, so the weight of the row itself anchors it. That is why these hold a full shelf without being heavy chunks of plastic.
